Identical Australian twins plead for change in country’s laws so they can marry the same man

Identical twin sisters are begging their country’s lawmakers to make polygamy legal so that the two of them could marry the same man. The pair have been dating the same man for six years and want to step up the relationship.

Anna and Lucy De Cinque, 33, have been dating Ben Byrne for over half a decade but the law in Australia where they live does not allow for polygamy.

The set of twin sisters who refer themselves as the “world’s most identical twins” have made a desperate plea to be allowed to marry their shared boyfriend.

The two were recently on a popular TV show to make their case in front of the country.

One of the twins is quoted as saying on the TV show: “Okay, so we share a partner Ben and we would like to marry him one day but the law in Australia says we can’t, so what do we do?”

“Ben treats us completely equally. If he kisses Anna, he kisses me right after, and holds both our hands when we’re out. We all sleep together, but it’s not like a threesome as we don’t get involved with each other. Some people say it’s disgusting, but it works for us”.

Polygamy is indeed banned under the Marriage Act 1961, in Australia. Yet the twins, from Perth, claim they’ve always had the vision in mind with Ben, a mechanic.

Meanwhile, Newsmen also reported that South African man with four wives recently opened up about his life as a polygamist. Mseleku, who is one of the most famous polygamist in SA, decided he wanted to educate people on the practice.
