A student of Kogi State University identified as Daniel Usman, was shot dead by political thugs while trying to vote in Anyigba, Kogi state. Only 17 hours ago, Daniel took to Facebook to preach against election violence. It was his last post before he was killed.
His post reads:
Vote and not fight!
Respect Yourself and stay out of trouble…

Friends have taken to Facebook to mourn the young student.
