Professor PLO Lumumba has stated that Churches that have Husband and wife pastors are a pyramid scheme who gave turned the name of Jesus into an industry.
Posters and billboards of Churches these days often show a man and his wife whom are referred to as Pastor Mr & Mrs. In a video going viral online, the Kenyan professor stated that such set up is only done to profit from the tithe paid by members of the Church.
Speaking further, Lumumba stated that though he supports tithing which he pays at a Church not solely run by a single man, he however doesn’t support the system in most churches today. According to him, all the money goes into private jets and the running of the life of an individual who is not questioned.
The professor lambasted the modern churches of today in a way that can only be felt when watched in the video below.
Speaking of tithing, just last Sunday, Bishop Oyedepo stated that he now carts his tithe in trailer loads to God who has made him to prosper.
”You don’t have to steal to shine, you don’t have to rob to prosper. If it is pastoring/founding a church that makes people prosper, there are many pastors/church founders who are paupers.
“You can’t go up except by tithing. From 1982 till date, my tithe hasn’t failed once; now I cart it to God in trailer loads,” he said.
