Nigerian artist, Burna Boy, yesterday clinched the award for the best international act at the just concluded BET award held last night at the Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, USA.
Although, Burna who was at the show with his mum disappeared just when he was announced the winner from the category which had Teni and Mr. Easy on the list, but his mum was there to receive the award.
On his sudden disappearance, Burna revealed, he went to get a drink, meanwhile, praising his mum for her speech after she got his BET Award, tweeted;
Funny enough I went to Get a drink! I would have collected this one. #BETAwards Thank You. Special S/O To my brothers @officialgiggs @mreazi @Santandave1 @akaworldwide & @DossehLaFamine . And to the Talented @TeniEntertainer and superstar @AyaNakamuraa We are all winners doing our bit to make our music heard worldwide.
