Juventus manager, Maurizio Sarri has confirmed that Forward Cristiano Ronaldo will play the left attack position for the club next season.
Sarri, who officially took over as Juventus boss last month, also insisted that the former Real Madrid superstar can play in any position in his squad next season.
Speaking on where Ronaldo will play in his squad next season, Sarri was quoted by AS as saying: “I’m going to first use Cristiano on the left in attack.
“But really, with the quality he has, he can play anywhere.
“He’s very experienced and has won everything, individually and collectively.”
Ronaldo netted 28 times in his first season in Turin in 2018/2019, but that was fewer than he managed in all of his nine seasons at Real Madrid.
It was also the fewest goals he has scored in any season since his 26 for Manchester United in 2008/2009.
