Beautiful, multi-talented, funny and brilliant actress, Toyin Abraham is no doubt one of the most sought-after thespians in the Nigerian movie industry.

The Edo-born screen diva has been able to worm her way into the heart of movie buffs with her brilliant performances in films. The actress, who is tremendously funny, continues to showcase her spontaneity and consistency which have earned a large cult following in the make-believe world.

Toyin Abraham is the focus today as we review five of her movies Nigerians must watch this weekend:

Toyin Alakara

In this movie, Toyin’s canteen is far the best for their sumptuous meal in the neighborhood but there seems to be more to their quick sales and patronage. What could be behind these? Adebayo Salami, Femi Adebayo, Odunlade Adekola, Peju Ogunmola are some of the big names in this one. Watch below:

My Past (Ana Mi)

Eta Oko

The movie had to do with triplets sisters who are given the opportunity to choose whatever career they want to venture into by their father. Eta Oko chooses wisely and it breeds jealousy from her sisters. Featured in this movie are Lateef Adedimeji, Adeniyi Johnson, Afeez Eniola.

Ikoyi Wives (Awon Iyawo Ikoyi)

This movie shows that compatibility isn’t all about couples characters alone but also about their strength in the bedroom. A wife who has a low drive, couldn’t handle her husband’s high drive and suggests he look outwards. Acting alongside Toyin are Wunmi Toriola, Muyiwa Ademola, Toyin Adewale.

Iya Ibadan

In this movie, Iwajowa Golden Girls is an Ibadan female gang which beliefs to be exposed until Catherine came to their neighborhood to visit her aunt. If you think Alakada is funny, watch Helen Paul and Toyin Aimakhu in this comedy movie ‘Iya Ibadan’. Featured in it are Jide Kosoko, Helen Paul, Jaiye Kuti, Akin Lewis.
