The Xenophobia attacks on foreigners including Nigerians in South Africa has taken a new dimension after more cities recorded fierce attacks from South African Indigenous people.

A Nigerian man who is a victim of the ongoing Xenophobia attacks in a video message warned Nigerians to erase South Africa from their travel list because the country is getting hotter for foreigners to dwell at the moment.

The man who did not disclose his identity shared a video conversation he had with his uncle. In the video, he was briefing his uncle about the update of the attacks where he also captured some of the damages Nigerians have recorded in their Auto sales and repair shops.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Union in South Africa (NUSA) has advised Nigerians living in South Africa to avoid Pretoria Central Business District (CBD) until the Police Authority certifies the area safe for foreign nationals. NUSA gave the advice in the wake of Xenophobic attacks early early hours of  August 28.

In a development that appears to be a retaliation to the unending xenophobic attacks in South Africa, Nigerian students shutdown South Africa’s businesses in Ogun State on Saturday, August 10.  The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) had shut down South Africa’s grocery chain, Shoprite at Ota in Ogun State.
