Alexis and David Brett have welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world. What makes the moment even more special is that the couple already has 10 children – all of whom are boys.
The 39-year-old English mother made history by becoming the first woman in Britain to birth 10 boys in a row, NDTV reported.
However, the couple really wanted a baby girl and it appears that the 11th time was the charm.
We learned that Alexis gave birth to baby Cameron on August 27 and the delighted mom took to social media to gush about her daughter.
Taking to her personal blog, Mum to 10 Boys, Alexis posted snaps of Cameron, writing: “Here she is! Born 27/8 – Our first girl!” Talking to The Mirror, the doting mom said she and her husband could not be happier.
“We’re over the moon,” Alexis said, adding that she was “delighted” to find out they were having a baby girl.
The happy mom added: “Now she’s here with us, it’s a fantastic feeling.” The couple’s 10 boys’ ages range from two years old to 17 and dad David said the brothers have “been much better behaved” around their new sister.
“They also want to help with holding and feeding her – it’s been great,” the proud father gushed.
Beautiful addition to the already large family.
