Three days after a notorious criminal identified as Chibuike popularly known as “Fear Not” disarmed a soldier attached to Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi, the criminal has been handed over to the soldiers by the youths of the town.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the suspect and his gang members intercepted the Governor’s convoy, took a rifle from one of the orderlies and fled.
The incident occured in Onicha Igboeze, Ebonyi State while the Governor of Ebonyi State was attending an event in the community.
It was gathered that innocent citizens have been continuously arrested and harrassed by soldiers ever since “Fear Not” disarmed the soldier attached to the governor. The soldiers threatened to continue the arrest until the rifle is recovered.
Days after the continuous arrest and harassment, the Ebonyi National Youths apprehended “Fear Not” who lives in Onicha Igboeze and handed him to the soldiers.
