Hours after the North Korea referred to the former US Vice-president and current front runner for the Democratic party presidential ticket as a rabid dog who should be beaten to death, the US President, Donald Trump has offered a rare but tepid defense of his political rival, Joe Biden.
Recall that the KCNA, state media of the North Korea rained insults on Biden over the weekends claiming that the US politician disrespected it’s supreme leader Kim Jong Un by criticizing the Kim-Trump summit that happened this year in Hanoi, Vietnam.
Trump has now come out to defend Biden, while also calling on Kim to begin negotiations over a nuclear deal with the United States.
Trump in his tweet, said;
Mr. Chairman, Joe Biden may be Sleepy and Very Slow, but he is not a “rabid dog.” He is actually somewhat better than that, but I am the only one who can get you where you have to be. You should act quickly, get the deal done. See you soon!”
