Men of the Sharia Police also known as Hisbah have arrested no fewer than 50 alleged homosexuals at a party organized at Sabuwar-Gandu Quarters in Kano metropolis.
WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the suspects were arrested for allegedly coming together as homosexuals to celebrate their togetherness.
It was further learnt that they were arrested at a graduation party after new graduates insisted that they organised the party to celebrate their graduation from tertiary institution.
While reacting to the development, a senior Hisbah commander, Mallam Tasiu confirmed the arrest of the man and alleged that they invited their same sex partners to the event.
Mallam Tasiu disclosed that these men are undergoing reorientation programmes.
The Senior Hisbah commander further disclosed that the reorientation programmes which is taking place before their prosecution, is done according to the teachings of Islam.
