Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri has approved the appointment of four principal officers to kick start his administration.
In a press statement released on Thursday, the Acting Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Daniel Alabrah, said the new appointees include a former Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Konbowei Benson, who is to serve as Secretary to the State Government.
Among the appointees include a former Chairman of Ogbia brotherhood, Chief Benson Agadaga, who is to serve as Chief of Staff, Hon. Peter Pereotubo Akpe as Deputy Chief of Staff and Mr. Irorodamie Komonibo as Principal Secretary.
The appointments which will take effect immediately bring the number of appointees to five, including the earlier announced Acting Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Daniel Alabrah.
