Katsina State Government have discharged four (4) Coronavirus patients after testing negative for the virus.
It was learnt that the discharged patients are family members of Late Dr. Aliyu Yakubu Daura, Katsina’s index case of Coronavirus who died from complications.
Chairman Coronavirus Public Enlightenment Committee in Daura Local Government Area, Alhaji Hussaini Umar Rafindadi confirmed the development in an interview with newsmen on Saturday April 25.
In a related story, the Executive Governor of Katsina State, Aminu Bello on Friday has imposed a total lockdown in Daura Local Government Area and it is expected to commence on Saturday, April 11 from 7am.
This was disclosed by the Governor while addressing journalists at Government House in Katsina.
Aminu Bello disclosed that the measures became urgent following the recording of an index case from Daura who later died.
Bello further revealed that the lockdown should have commenced from Friday, but that the open window was given to allow people buy whatever they needed.
