Nollywood actress, Dayo Amusa, has shared a painful encounter, she had with a fan who begged for money.
Sharing the experience, which according to her was painful, the 36-year-old seasoned actress, took to Instagram to share how she mistakenly sent N50,000 to a fan who she had intended to give N5,000.
Amusa said that it was painful but because she knows the person she cannot get be angry at the person.
“Funny but true 😞 E pain me se!
And I no fit vex for the person 🤷🏼♀️ I told you I was going to post it 😊 O dun mi o 🙄” She captioned the post.
” Sm1 I know just buzz me this morning for 2k to put food on the table for her kids. So I thought I could help with 5k but mistakenly sent 50k. I quickly put a call through…She said she already spent the money and that she only has 3k in her account…” She wrote

Similarly,fast rising Nigerian singer @iam_kingbernard last year shared screenshots detailing how he also mistakenly sent N450,000 instead of N45,000 to one of his fans, who begged him for money to sort out school runs.
According to Bernard, the fan initially requested for the sum of N40,000 to sort out his admission process but the singer promised to send him N45,000 so he can use N5,000 to sort out any other personal issue.
Thinking the young man would refund the extra N400,000, Bernard tried reaching out to his fan on Instagram but he did not get a response. He added that the fan has also blocked him on Instagram. Read here.
