An heavily pregnant woman identified as Flavia Godinho Mafra was found dead at the baby shower that was organised for her by an old time friend. Flavia was allegedly lured to a fake baby shower by an old school friend in Brazil where she was killed and her baby was cut out.
According to the friend who lured Flavia to the fake baby shower and killed her, she intentionally killed Flavia because she wanted to steal her child. She explained that she had a miscarriage last year, and became obsessed with the idea of stealing a child.
The body was reportedly found by the victim’s husband and mother at around 9 am on August 28, 2020. An autopsy confirmed 36-week pregnant Flavia died from cuts to her abdomen and injuries from a brick her friend used to bring out the child.
