Nigeria’s minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Sunday Dare has announced that orientation camps for Nigeria Youth Service Corps (NYSC) will reopen on November 10.

Announcing via his Twitter handle, the minister said, “The resumption of the NYSC Orientation Camp for prospective Youth Corpers has been approved and opens on November 10th 2020. Full COVID-19 Protocols will be enforced.”

It has been seven months since the NYSC suspended orientation exercise in all camps nationwide over coronavirus fears.

On March 18, the management of NYSC had temporarily suspended the orientation course for 2020 Batch A Stream One in order to curtail the spread of coronavirus among corps members.
