The bye-election for the State House of Assembly was conducted across the 10 wards of Bakura Local Government Area.

It was gathered that in the early hour of Sunday, the bye-election for the State House of Assembly of Bakura Constituency was declared inconclusive by the Returning Officer, Professor Ibrahim Magawata due to alleged over voting in some polling units.

Submitting her report to the Returning Officer, the Registration Area Supervisor for Bakura Ward 001, Professor Aisha Bawa declared that the two INEC ad-hoc staff were missing.

Bawa also explained that she was yet to receive the results of two polling units because no one knows the whereabouts of the two ad-hoc staff and the election results.
