A one-year old baby stolen from her mother at the market, has been found and rescued by the Police, according to reports. Francis Mawusi Ahiagbenu was rescued from the alleged baby thief and a man believed to be her partner just few minutes after midnight on Tuesday at Effiakuma Number 1 in Takoradi in the Western Region of Ghana, following a tip-off.
The two have been arrested and taken into custody for investigations to begin. The baby was immediately taken to hospital for medical examination before being released to the parent.
The woman who allegedly stole a one year old baby boy in Takoradi, was captured on a CCTV. The camera, which was planted at the Ghana Home Loans company captured vividly, the woman when she was stealing the baby.
