The Federal Government has launched a Transport Track Fund which seeks to give N30, 000 grants to commercial drivers including bus drivers, taxi drivers, motorcycle riders and operators of ride-hailing cabs such as Bolt and Uber.
Presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad who made the announcement said the programme is in furtherance of FG’s commitment to support small businesses to cushion the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
He tweeted;
The Federal Government has commenced N30,000 grants for taxi, bus, okada, Keke Napep, Uber, Bolt drivers and cart pushers across the country, this is in furtherance of its commitment to support small businesses to cushion the economic effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
