Supermodel and mother, Oluchi Onweagba, proudly celebrates her son, Ugo Ugochukwu, as one of the top racing teams in the world, McLaren Racing has signed him for a long term contract.
13 years old, Ugochukwu, represents the United States, and has been winning racing awards since he was as young as age 8.
He has won a slew of titles in the United States and Europe and most recently won the 2020 FIA OKJ European Championship.
This caught the attention of McLaren, the same racing team that signed a young Lewis Hamilton, who has gone on to dominate the world of Formula One.
Reacting to her son’s signing, Oluchi Onweagba wrote on Instagram: “Thank you GOD! Angels in the heavenlies Thank you! Watch over your Son. @ugougochukwu It’s beyond us.”
Ugochukwu also took to Instagram to announce the news, writing: “Thank you Mr Zak Brown and the entire Mclaren team for believing in me. Together, we will get there.”
Oluchi shares son Ugochukwu with Luca Orlandi, an Italian fashion designer. Together, they have two sons.
