Just like actress, Ruth Kadiri, Halima Abubakar has blown hot for not being recognized by Eko Star Film & TV Awards despite being an actress and a movie producer.
Recall that Ruth Kadiri, yesterday accused the Lagos State Government and media mogul, Mo Abudu of deliberately sidelining her at the 2021 Eko Star Film & TV Awards.
The Nigerian International Film Summit, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture & Tourism and EbonyLife Place, had organized the Eko Star Film & TV Awards, honouring Nollywood female pioneers, who made significant contributions in the Nigerian film industry.
And for not being recognized like Ruth Kadiri, Halima reacted, saying that, she’s not being problematic but then awarding those she give roles and snubbing her is unfair saying everything is sentimental in Nollywood but she will continue to produce her movies and fvck who don’t like them.
Halima Abubakar went on to console herself saying no matter what she still stands and can’t be pushed by the evils and dog eat dog attitude in the industry as she’s like a river that never dries no matter what.
We don’t know what the award organizers look at before giving an award but then it appears they awarded familiar and popular faces snubbing some people who are really working hard and are the reason why those they awarded are popular.
