Burna Boy’s Forthcoming Album Chronicles Pain And Success

Rave of the moment, Burna Boy, divulges some vital information about his forthcoming album, suspected to be titled ‘Outsider’.

The Grammy Award-winner, who was listed among African icons by Forbes, said the album would narrate his past and the pains he underwent in the music industry.

He revealed on Friday through twitter that the musical project will disclose how he embraced his pain and turned it into success.

Burna Boy shared, “This next album. I need you to hear the pain in my voice, The pain of an OUTSIDER, Forever marked by my skin, my past and the place I come from No matter how skilled I am or how honourable I proved myself”.

“I forever suffer. The dull eyed masses hatred of anything they do not understand. I embraced my pain and turned it into the greatest weapon this world will ever know”, he added.

WithinNigeria had on May 1 reported that Burna Boy at a point in his life had to choose between greatness and death following many collaborations with foreign artistes of African heritage.

He stated, “Following several collaborations with foreign artistes of African heritage, I just made up my mind that I wanted it all. I wanted to be the greatest. That’s when it hit me really hard that I had to do it. It was that or death”.

Burna Boy’s new album is expected to premiere this year.
