Afrobeat musician, Seun Kuti, alleges that Nigerian politicians are the ones giving guns to bandits to wreak havoc in the country.
Seun Kuti, the youngest son of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, said this in a video clip shared on social media. He stipulated that bandits are political thugs whom are known to Nigerian politicians.
He also advised on how to put an end to banditry, stating that the politicians should pen down a list of everyone they have shared guns to for retrieval of the weapons.
Seun stated, “Politicians are the ones giving bandits guns in Nigeria. Let’s not act like we don’t know. If we want to end this banditry, all politicians should write down a list of people they’ve given guns to so we can go and collect it back. These are political thugs.”
