Afro-fusion musician Burna Boy says there is no competition between his colleague, Wizkid, and himself.
Burna Boy and Wizkid recently won their very first Grammy Award plaques. This raised speculations that both musicians might be competing low-key, however, Burna Boy debunked this in a recent interview.
Burna Boy stated that they are two different individuals who love each other. He added that their style of music may be similar, but they are on different lane because Wizkid sings about women while he sings about real-life situations and women.
He told DJ Whookid that; “we are on two every different lane in life, you know? And the only similarity really, is the fact that we are from the same place and we love each other, you get me? That’s what brings us together. It’s where we’re from and the love we have for each other. Other than that, we are on two different lanes mehn. Wiz is about the b*tches, You get me? I’m about real life and the b*tches…..”
