Toke Makinwa, a Nigerian media personality, has clapped back at a social media bully who insulted her on Twitter.
The bully, identified as @DrWhales_ on the platform, tweeted about the vlogger being unintelligent. “Toke Makinwa is so unintelligent,” he wrote.
The tweet caught Toke Makinwa’s attention, and she gave the critic a reply, saying despite her dullness, the irony is that she is successful. “But she is damn successful though!!!!! The irony,” she responded.
The detractor didn’t back down still; he threw yet another shade at the light-skinned OAP. He said “If succeeding in life ‘only’ means ability to meet financial needs, yes, stupid people can also do that.”
Toke Makinwa at this point gave him a shut up when she replied by asking him why would she have to stress her brain when she has the resources to hire him to think for her
Their exchange has met different reactions from Nigerians on Twitter space with many decrying cyber bulling.
