Nigerian secular musician turned gospel singer, Chidinma Ekile, has premiered her first official gospel music project, an extended play (EP) titled ‘New Season’.
Together with the new EP, Chidinma released a powerful music video for the song ‘Jesus the Son of God’, featuring The Gratitude, a music group from COZA.
Chidinma announced her switch to Gospel music following her record label deal with EeZee Conceptz in May 2021. The announcement and ceremony were accompanied with the release of ‘Jehovah Overdo.’
She then followed up ‘Jehovah Overdo’ with ‘This Love’. The song is a heartfelt ballad about the love of God. ‘Ko S’Oba Bire’ which is her 3rd gospel single, is a forerunner for her new EP ‘New Season’.
The 7-track EP is executively produced by Ezekiel ‘EeZee Tee’ ThankGod, and contains previously released gospel singles and fresh additions ‘Chukwu Oma’, ‘Lion and the Lamb’, and a bonus track ‘This Love’, rendered in French.
