On August 25th, one of Nigeria’s leading filmmakers and entrepreneur Anita Edwards was a year older.
With over ten years’ experience in the Nigerian film and television industry and nine years’ experience in business management, business development, and film & television investment, Anita stands tall as the Group Managing Director of The World Stage Film Limited, a company she founded in 2020 which specializes in film & TV production and content distribution.
Before that, she was the Head of Business Development and Chief Distribution Officer of Lexanton Nigeria Limited, and co-founded and oversaw the successful launch of their distribution business. Anita is also the Chairwoman of Vertigo Media Limited, a brand and marketing communications firm based in Lagos, Nigeria.
In celebration of her 30th birthday, Anita Edwards who is a proven film producer, writer and director, with notable works including THE MESS-AGE and DAWN, two highly acclaimed web series hosted close friends and family to a special cozy event at her Lagos residence.
