Nigerian rapper Vector says fame has thought him different life lessons while discussing the recent title of ‘Amuludun’ that was bestowed on him in Lagos state.

Vector revealed that “Fame has taught me about life in many ways than one. Fame has taught me about money, love, patience, growth, people, time, appreciation and balance.”

The musician who recently bagged a Chieftaincy title, ‘Amuludun’ in his community, Lafiaji in Lagos state, disclosed that he didn’t pay a kobo to get the title.

He also told Sunday Scoop that it makes no sense for anyone to pay for such a title that means he brings joy to his people.

“Among other things, it feels good that I am appreciated for bringing more positive attention to Lagos Island within my community. A Yoruba adage says ‘charity begins at home.’ It is a blessing to be recognised in one’s home.”

“I was summoned by the Lafiaji community in appreciation of my positive works in the community. I don’t think it makes sense to pay people to appreciate one. The title of ‘Amuludun’ is simply a title bestowed on someone who brings joy to the people.”
