Simi Drops Visuals For New Afrobeat Song, ‘Woman’ (Watch)

Multi-talented singer Simi has premiered the official music video for her latest trending afrobeat single, ‘Woman’. The mother of one released the video through her record label, Studio Brat, on Friday, October 15, 2021.

Simi dropped ‘Woman’ to expose the gender intimidation and segregation faced by the African women. The amazing vocalist sampled some of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’s sensitive lyrics and redefined them to match the current generation.

Simi, known for conscious music which aims to motivate, inspire listeners and to expose social ills in the society, scored herself a high mark with her latest effort on ‘Woman’.
