Deezer Names Burna Boy 2021 Most Streamed African Artist

African Giant Burna Boy has emerged as the most streamed African artiste for the year 2021 on music streaming applications, Deezer.

The global music listening service made the announcement on Friday, November 25, 2021, through its official Twitter page.

“@burnaboy is the top-streamed African artist on Deezer globally in 2021,” disclosed the platform, adding a congratulatory message. “Congrats to the African Giant,” it read.

Recently, WithinNigeria reported that Burna Boy grabbed his third Grammy Award nomination for the third time in a roll after winning the Best Global Music Album for Twice As Tall at the 2021 Grammy Awards.
