Nigerian musician Wizkid keeps winning with his global song, ‘Essence’ (Remix), featuring Tems and Canadian singer Justin Bieber.

Today, giant music streaming platform, Spotify, listed the internationally acclaimed singer’s track amongst its ‘Best Pop Songs’ for the year 2021. Sitting vibrantly at number 48, the playlist featured 50 songs from different artistes worldwide.

The 31-year-old musician also grabbed the ‘Collaboration of the Year’ plaque at the just concluded Soul Train Awards 2021 for the original version of ‘Essence’, featuring Tems.

Just yesterday, Apple Music awarded the Star Boy the ‘African Artiste of the Year’ plaque for being the most streamed African artist on the continent on Apple Music and ranked on the Daily Top 100 charts in 60 countries, besides his monthly plays on Apple Music growing by over 250 percent outside of Africa.
