How Dangote Was There For Me At Birth –Davido

Davido and Dangote

Nigerian musician Davido has revealed he has a significant relationship with business mogul and the richest man in Africa, Aliko Dangote.

The ‘Aye’ crooner disclosed this while speaking in a conversation with Earn Your Leisure podcast. Davido stated Dangote was there for him when he was born.

“Dangote drove me home from the hospital when I was born,” Davido said.

The 29-year-old global superstar added that Dangote always advises him to save his money anytime they see. “Anytime I see Uncle Aliko, he tells me, David, save your money”, he declared.

Davido recalled he wasn’t welcomed in the Nigerian music industry when he initially started his music career because of his rich background. Hoping the younger generation of musicians won’t make the same mistake, he divulged he had to prove himself worthy of a spot in the industry.
