Lola Omotayo, wife of Peter Okoye, on Thursday visited her dad’s grave with her husband and his twin brother Paul Okoye to mark the one-year anniversary of his death. The mother of two shared photos of herself and the music duo on Instagram.
“Prayers for Papa today….continue to Rest In Peace #family #oneyearmemorial #rip #dec16th @peterpsquare @iamkingrudy,” she wrote.
Mr Oladipo Omotayo died on December 16, 2020. Lola broke the news on Instagram saying, “In the early hours of this morning, I received some very sad news that brought my family’s world to a grinding halt. “My darling Papa’s passing has hit us all very hard, and while we know that he is in a better place, the truth is that there is no easy way to handle the grief that comes with the loss of a loved one.”
Anita Okoye, the wife of Paul Okoye, also condoled with Lola over the death of her father amid their husband’s beef at the time. However, Paul and his older brother Jude Okoye did not condole with Peter when he lost his father-in-law and were absent at the funeral in February.
Paul and Peter ended their rift in November and followed each other back on Instagram. Their wives also celebrated them on their birthday. Lola Omotayo also visited Anita Okoye with her kids and they spent Thanksgiving together.
