Budding Nigerian musician CKay has taken to his social media page to announce his collaboration with respected music producer David Guetta.
CKay, a 26-year-old Nigerian singer, broke the news on his official Instagram page on Thursday night, December 30, 2021. Although, CKay didn’t give any major details about the duet, but he gave a hint with the picture and caption.
In the image shared on his Instagram page, CKay and the French producer, who doubles as a disc jockey, could be seen sitting in the music studio. Why else would a musician be in the studio with a producer? Well, his caption answered this question.
“Can’t wait for this one @davidguetta,” Ckay wrote, pointing at a possible music collaboration between them.
CKay’s post about his alliance with Guetta comes about a week after American singer Ne-Yo expressed his interest in having the singer on his music.
CKay is widely known for his track, ‘Love Nwantiti’, which rose to popularity in 2021, two years after its official release. The song shattered the 15 billion streams record on TikTok and earned the fresh talent a world record on Shazam, amongst other notable achievements.
