Why I couldn’t treat my 11-year ailment — Josh2Funny

After being cured of an ailment he claimed to have battled with for 11 years, Skit maker and comedian, Josh Alfred, popularly known as Josh2funny, has revealed why it took him so long to get permanent treatment.

Earlier in the week, the comedian shared a video on his Instagram page, which showed himself lying on the bed in a health facility.

The post’s caption read in part, “This is my testimony. I have helplessly been suffering this pain for 11 years. To cut the long story short, I thank God for a successful surgery and quick recovery.”

Debunking the claim that money was the reason the illness festered for so long, Josh2Funny during an interview with Sunday Scoop, said, “There are some ailments that take very long to get to the stage where they can be got rid of. Although I had been treating it over the years and money was not the problem, it required enough time. However, I am glad I am now rid of it.”

Refusing to mention the name of the ailment, the comedian said, “I prefer not to reveal the nature of the ailment, please. I would like to keep that to myself. I am just glad I survived it.”

Alfred was also full of praise for his wife, whom he said supported him wholeheartedly. He said, “My wife gave me all the support a woman can give her husband. She encouraged me and bolstered my confidence all through the process. My wife never gave up on me; she has always been by my side.”
