After Kanye West claimed he stopped Kim Kardashian’s second sextape from leaking, the popular reality star has reacted.
Kim rubbished the claims by her estranged husband Kanye West who sensationally accused her of making the film which he presented to her as a footage last year.
The Gold Digger rapper claimed the second tape existed on a laptop, but he did his ex a ‘huge favour’ by stopping the footage from going public.
However the Skims founder has rubbished claims the tape contained any “sexual” content.
A statement made on Kim’s behalf said: “The computer and hard drive collected were supposed to contain the original video and any unseen footage.
“After review, there was nothing sexual unseen, only footage on the plane on the way to Mexico and footage at a club and restaurant on the same trip.
“Kim remains firm in her belief that there is no new second tape that exists. After 20 years, she truly wishes to move on from this chapter [and] focus instead on the positive things she continues to do as a mother, entrepreneur and advocate for justice reform,” reports Page Six.
However after Kanye’s bombshell revelation it may be more difficult for the pint-sized star to move on than she hopes.
Speaking on Jason Lee’s Hollywood Unlocked Podcast, Kanye – who is the father of Kim’s kids – said that he allegedly did her the ultimate favour by getting the tape back from Ray J himself.
“I went and got the laptop from Ray J myself that night,” Kanye said during the candid interview.
“I met this man at the airport, then got on a red-eye, came back [and] delivered it to her at 8 a.m. in the morning.”
He added: “She cried when she saw it. You know why she cried when she seen it on the laptop? Because it represents how much she’s been used.
“It represents how much people didn’t love her, and they just saw her as a commodity.”
Despite Kim’s denials, an insider is said to have told Page Six that the star is “truly grateful” for Kanye getting the tape back.
They said: “Kim was and still is truly grateful to Kanye for getting it back.
“The tape caused her a lot of pain and continues to haunt her to this day.”
The source added that even though Kim and Kanye are no longer together, they still have the ‘same concerns about how the footage may affect their four children in the future’.
