Reminisce vows to release a lot of music this year, and right here he is gradually fulfilling his promise to his fans by dropping an introductory single to set the mood for his forthcoming new album, ‘Alaye Toh Se Gogo’.
Reminisce has been on low-key in the music industry for about a year to focus on his other businesses and put his thoughts together for the hotly awaited studio album, ‘Alaye Toh Se Gogo’, which houses 10 tracks.
For the introductory single, Reminisce seemingly got the inspiration for the title of the album from Olamide and taps into the YBNL head-huncho’s popular lyrics “Alaye toh se gogo, action por bi Ogogo…” that he used in his 2016 smash-hit single titled ‘Owo Blow’.
In the new ‘Intro’ single, the rapper spoke about fake love in the society, how some musicians he supported in the industry failed and how he has been nurturing his children while boasting about going to Mecca to enhance his spiritual life for ‘what’s good’.
In June 2014, Reminisce released ‘Omo x 100’ featuring Olamide, a short and direct single where he confirmed to his fans that he has not retired from music however, focused more attention to his sport business, acting career, being a good husband to his wife and an incredible father to his kids.
Ahead of the official release of ‘Alaye Toh Se Gogo’ album in March, Reminisce is expected to release two more singles featuring Buju and Simi. Listen to ‘Intro’ for ‘Alaye Toh Se Gogo’ below.
