Olamide welcomes ‘Omo Ope’ crooner, Asake to the YBNL family

YBNL boss, Olamide on an Instagram post made on Tuesday, 8 February 2022 welcomed the ‘Omo Ope’ crooner, Asake to the YBNL family.

Olamide and Asake have been working together for a while and made ‘magic’ with ‘Omo Ope’ which has since been getting massive airplay on radio stations across the country.

Asake has released a couple of songs prior to ‘Omo Ope’ but with his brilliant delivery on the song along with Olamide’s Midas touch, ‘Omo Ope’ boomed and placed Asake in a space hard enough to be ignored.

‘Omo Ope’ is the top song on Apple Music’s Top 100: Nigeria, with the popular ‘Baddest Boy’ by Skiibii and Davido trailing behind it in number 2.

It is also important to note that ‘Omo Ope’ currently has 108,340 Shazams which means that thousands of people who do not know who sang the song are searching for it.

Since Olamide made the post welcoming Asake to the YBNL family, the post has 5,000+ comments, most of which are congratulatory messages, and others commending Olamide for signing the talented singer.
