Grammy Winners Angelique Kidjo And Burna Boy Release Video For New Africa Anthem, ‘Do Yourself’ (Watch)

Burna Boy and Angelique Kidjo

Angelique Kidjo has dropped the official music video for her sweet and melodious song about the African continent, titled ‘Do Yourself’.

The video for the track which calls Africa to order arrived on streaming platforms today and it is already getting positive attentions from fans of the astonishing talents.

‘Do Yourself’ by Angelique Kidjo and Burna Boy directly addressed Africans not to let the tough continent fall apart. “With Burna Boy, we have written the anthem for a new Africa—laced with modernity, beauty, and energy,” Kidjo said in a statement.

“We revere Africa because she is the birthplace of all humanity. We won’t let her fall apart, we know she is strong like metal and steel. A long time ago we learned that if you want Africa to change, you have to do it yourself!” the 61-year-old legendary songstress added.

‘Do Yourself’, directed by ace cinematographer Meji Alabi, sees the duo starting the video off from a café, dancing with enthusiasm while other backup singers joined them.
