Rotimi Drops Cinematic Flick For Fireboy DML-Assisted Track, ‘Weapon’ (Watch)

Rotimi and Fireboy DML

Multi-talented American actor of Nigerian descent, Rotimi, has premiered the long-awaited visuals for his trending track, ‘Weapon’ with Fireboy DML, his label mate at Empire and Olamide’s YBNL signee.

Rotimi, a skilled musician, actor and model, teamed up with rave of the moment, Fireboy DML, who’s currently basking in the euphoria of his successful song, ‘Peru’. The duo took turns to deliver a creative yet engaging flick for ‘Weapon’.

Speaking about their duet, Rotimi stated that they amalgamated Afrobeats, Raggae and R&B to berth the spanking hot joint, ‘Weapon’. He described his collaboration with Fireboy DML as a blessing.

“Working with Fireboy DML is a blessing first and foremost and “Weapon” is probably my favourite song. It’s a cool mixture of Afrobeats, reggae and R&B.”

“We met at a party in LA and just knew we needed to work together. We complemented each other very well and our vibes really meshed well,” Rotimi stated.
