My New Album Featuring Chris Brown Is A Fresh Air For Afrobeats —Rema

Rema

Nigerian musician Divine Ikubor, profoundly called by his stage name Rema, has disclosed his soon-to-be-released debut studio album titled ‘Raves & Roses’ features American singer Chris Brown while discussing the value of the project.

Rema featured Chris Brown on ‘Time & Affection’, the sixth track on the forthcoming compilation of songs. Nigerian talented beat-maker London produced the Afro-fusion track.

Rema, a 21-year-old with enviable music knack, said that the album is a fresh air for afrobeats when speaking at the exclusive album listening party for his very first studio album on Sunday, March 13, 2022.

“I see this project as a fresh air when it comes to afrobeats,” Rema stated, adding that “I see it as a gesture to seal my sound for good.”

Talking further, he confessed that all the music producers who worked with him on the album are from Benin City, his hometown in Nigeria.

‘Raves & Roses’ by Rema is slated for release later this month.
