Burna Boy’s ‘On The Low’ Gets Gold Certification In The US Three Years After Release

Burna Boy

Sophisticated Nigerian musician Burna Boy’s November 2018 release, ‘On The Low’, has gotten the gold certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).

In the US, the RIAA awards certification is based on the number of albums and singles sold through retail and other ancillary markets.

A Gold record is a single or album that sells 500,000 units (records, tapes or compact discs).

‘On The Low’ by Burna Boy is a track off the acclaimed ‘African Giant’ album. Respected music doctor, Kel P, produced the song.

Grammy Award-winner, Burna Boy, is not new to his single being certified gold by RIAA. In 2021, his global hit song, ‘Ye’, was also certified.
