Nigeria’s finest vocalist, Wande Coal, has reacted emotionally after his 2019 single, ‘Gentility’, lands on the top spot of Apple Music Chart in Nigeria.
The song, ‘Gentility’, which is a duet with talented rapper and music producer Melvitto, took over the number one spot of the Top 100 Nigeria Apple Music Chart on Friday, April 29, 2022.
‘Gentility’ resurfaced online when it became a challenge on TikTok. It went viral on the social media platform with a lot of users taking part in the challenge, not excluding Wande Coal.
Gradually, the song rose to prominence again. As of Thursday, the song was on number 2 spot, only for it to emerge number one on Apple Music Chart in the country, Nigeria, on Friday morning.
Wande Coal couldn’t hide his emotions. He busted into tears as he shared the screenshot of the chart following the song’s success.

The song is also among the trending songs on Apple Music in other African countries. ‘Gentility’ holds the 33rd position on the Top 100 Ghana Apple Music Chart and 10th position on the Top 100 Gambia Apple Music Chart.
