Singer Teniola Apata known professionally as Teni has declared her sister Niniola the best vocalist in Nigeria.
The 29-year-old said this in a Twitter post while hailing Niniola for her vocal range. She tweeted:
“No one touching Nini vocally. No.”
In June 2021 Niniola received a Grammy certificate for her contribution to American singer Beyonce’s album, The Lion King: The Gift.
The ‘Maradona’ singer took to her Instagram page to share the good news alongside a copy of the certificate of recognition from the Recording Academy.
Parts of Niniola’s song ‘Maradona’ were sampled in ‘Find Your Way Back’, a song from Beyonce’s album. Niniola is the older sister Teni.
