Today May 20, is the 49th wedding anniversary, of Award-winning International gospel singer, Don Moen and his wife Martha.
To mark the day, Don Moen shared a post and reminisced on how he married his wife after a concert in Minneapolis,
He wrote:
”49 years ago, I married this girl after a concert in Minneapolis, MN. We welcomed anyone in the audience to stay for the wedding, it started at 10PM & we had approx 1,000 people we didn’t know at our wedding! What an adventure! I’m a very blessed man. God is so good!!!”
Sometime ago, Don Moen revealed that he and his wife searched for a child for 12 years before
they were finally blessed with a baby girl.
He wrote:
“We waited for 12 years
before we had our first child. Doctors said we couldn’t have children
but God gave us 5 at the end, a daughter, then a son, a daughter then a
son and then a daughter. Men had given up on us but at the end, God gave
us five children in 7 years”.
