‘Street Ti Take Over,’ Portable Reacts To Headies Awards Nominations

Budding talent Portable has taken to his social media page to react to his latest feat in the music industry.

Portable, real name Habeeb Okikiola, was on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, nominated by the prestigious Headies Awards in two categories — ‘Best Street-Hop Artiste’ and ‘Rookie of the Year’.

The street-hop sensation being a newbie in the music industry has been pushing hard to stay relevant in the industry since he made his debut in late 2021 with the song ‘Zazuu Zeh.

Portable gushed about the two nods he got, stating that he worked for them. The Headies Awards organisers saw his efforts and recognised him accordingly.

“I know I worked for this and I know it’s for me base on believe. The Headies don show love,” he wrote as caption after sharing the nomination fliers on his page.

The Headies Awards 2022 will hold at the COBB Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, USA.
