Jaywon, a respected Nigerian musician, releases his new studio album titled ‘Jahbahlee’ recently, has narrated how he got street-hop sensation, Portable, to feature on the compilation.
Jaywon said in a video sighted by WithinNigeria that Portable is a very amazing guy who is also respectful. Jaywon added that he is one of the realest guys in the music industry, despite the negative things people say about him.
The ‘Odun Yi’ crooner said Portable’s interest in featuring on his album showed he loves him. Jaywon recounted they were both in Benin when they discussed him releasing an album, and Portable articulated he would love to be on a track off the body of work.
Jaywon noted that he told Portable in Benin to meet him in Lagos later that night if he truly wanted to be included, which he did. Jaywon featured Portable on the remix of ‘Zelle’ that has risen to be one of the most popular tracks on the album.
Jaywon’s ‘Jahbahlee’ album was released on May 6, 2022. The project has other guest appearances like Medical, Seyi vibez, Famaye, Timaya, Kerwin Du Bois, e.t.c.
Portable broke into limelight in late 2021, following his collaborative effort on ‘Zazu Zehh’ featuring YBNL head-honcho, Olamide, and dancer PocoLee. Since then, the self-styled Dr. Zehh has been making waves in the music industry.
