Nascent Nigerian singer CKay, real name Chukwuka Ekweani, has gotten France’s platinum certification for his 2021 release, ‘Emiliana.’
The musician announced this on his official Instagram page on Tuesday when he reposted the news from a music platform in France.
It was published that ‘Emiliana’ by CKay amassed an equivalent of 30 million streams in the country.
The new feat for the track comes a month after the song was certified gold in France after it sold 100,000 units of the song in France.
CKay continues his winning streak since he made a desirable appearance through his global hit song, ‘Love Nwantiti,’ which has recorded over 2 billion views on TikTok and over 500 million YouTube streams.
Recently, the record producer also emerged as the only Nigerian to make the 2022 Time’s Next Generation Leaders list.
