CKay Features Davido, Focalistic And Abidoza To Push ‘Situationship’ Narrative In New Music, ‘Watawi’ (Listen)

After his global success on ‘Love Nwantiti’ and ‘Emiliana’, CKay premieres yet another potential hit song titled ‘Watawi,’ which means ‘what are we?’

CKay armed ‘Watawi’ with a careful selection of Pan-African musicians—Davido from Nigeria, South African rapper Focalistic, and Limpopo superstar DJ and music producer Abidoza.

The song dwells on the modern open relationship style that leaves many confused and unsure about their partner. Are they in love or they are just passing time without heading in any serious direction in the romance? They mostly do not know, hence finding themselves in a ‘situationship.’

CKay, Davido, and Focalistic shine lights on ‘Watawi’ through their charming melodies, as they make their respective ladies know that there is no label on what they are.

“A lot of people have been in tricky situations when their “situationship” attempts to push things further than it needs to be,” CKay said of the story behind Watawi.
