Popular Nigerian musician, Adedamola Adefolahan, professionally known as Fireboy DML has on Thursday, June 23 made an announcement that has set music lovers buzzing with excitement and in anticipation.
The 2022 BET award nominee took to social media to announce that a song with his label mate, Ahmed Ololade, better known as Asake is ready and would be released anytime soon.
The ‘Peru’ hit-maker who is set to perform at the 2022 BET Award on Monday, June 27, 2022 made this known in a post via his verified Twitter page.
The YBNL Nation prodigy, Fireboy DML posted a photo of an mp3 file indicating he featured Asake on a potential hit single labeled; “Bandana” but didn’t disclose the release date. Screenshot below:
Asake has been on a roll in 2022 with his singles ‘Sungba,’ ‘Palazzo,’ and ‘Peace Be Unto You‘ enjoying wide success. Fireboy is set to join forces with the red hot artist for his second release of 2022.
Fireboy DML is currently promoting his project; ‘Playboy’ which was released on Friday, April 1, 2022 and has gathered over 16 million streams on on Boomplay whiles Asake is also promoting ‘Peace Be Unto You’ which was released on June 16, 2022 and has surpassed 2 million streams on Boomplay.
